Sara Bytheway

Associate Attorney

Sara is an associate attorney at the Law Office of Marc A. Austin, P.C. She was admitted to practice law in Utah in 2007. She has an undergraduate from Brigham Young University and graduated cum laude with her J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. Sara is very experienced in probate and estate settlement matters, estate planning matters, and real estate transactions and business sales. Sara grew up in Utah and currently resides in Provo.

Daryl Sam

Associate Attorney

Daryl joined the Law Office of Marc A. Austin in June 2023. He has been a practicing attorney in Utah since 1998. His experience includes managing his own law practice for over 10 years with an emphasis in the areas of criminal defense and estate planning/probate/estate settlement. Prior to managing his own law practice, Daryl worked for PricewaterhouseCooopers, the law office of Snow, Christensen and Martineau [now SpencerFane], and the Utah Federal Public Defender Office. He joined Wealthcounsel, a national organization for estate planning attorneys, in 2019. He regularly receives training through Wealthcounsel and collaborates with other estate planning attorneys both on a national and local level.

Daryl is currently serving on the leadership committee of the Utah State Bar Estate Planning Section. He also participates in monthly meetings with local estate planning attorneys through Wealthcounsel’s Utah Forum virtual meetings. He and his wife, Andrea, live in South Jordan and are the parents of five children and one grandchild.
